About Morgan Dempsey

Morgan Dempsey Capital Management, LLC is a successor company of National Investment Services of America, Inc. (NISA), a Milwaukee investment management firm founded in 1975.  Morgan Dempsey was established by the shareholders of NISA in 1994.

The firm is 100% employee owned and does not have affiliations with any brokerage firm or holding company. No member of the firm has left in the previous 5 years.

In 2010, Brian Rafn and David Durham became principals and assumed expanded roles in the management of the firm along with current principal Marc Dion, CFA.  Tom Dempsey, who sold his majority interest to Brian and David, remains on full time as our managing director focusing on client service and helping the business partners grow the firm.  We are pleased to report the majority of the firm is owned by the portfolio managers at Morgan Dempsey.
